What I’ve Been Working On — August 2025

It’s been a busy summer — equal parts design work, filming, painting, and quietly rebuilding everything behind the scenes.

Some client projects are currently under wraps (the fun kind — the good ones you want to shout about later), but elsewhere things are moving very visibly forward.

A fresh coat of paint (literally)

My new painting website launches shortly. It’s where my art practice finally gets its own focused space, separate from design and client work. I’ve always had one foot in both worlds — design and painting — and now they each have a proper home.

It’s not just a new site. It’s a clear statement of intent, with a new series of paintings, a newsletter, and plans for exhibitions in 2026.

København by Design — now in Danish

My design website rebrand is complete — and now live in both English and Danish.

That’s more than just a translation: it’s a commitment to being part of Copenhagen’s design culture and working in both languages going forward. It also ties in neatly with…

Danish citizenship (and a better grasp of grammar)

I passed the Danish exams. My citizenship application is in. And with it, a more natural presence in both languages — online, in client meetings, and even in the odd blog post.

Sorry what? What was my gennemsnit in Danish? No, you don’t want to know… okay 11.5. No biggie… eleven point five. Danes know what that means.

Copenhagen, through a new lens

I’ve been filming throughout the summer for a new creative project — one I’ve been quietly building behind the scenes.

Long bike rides with a camera bag, early morning shots, golden hour at Bellevue Beach, the pink and red of Superkilen… Copenhagen has been showing off, and I’ve been capturing it. the big photographer’s light in the sky bringing the beauty of Copenhagen at it’s finest.

It’s a side project (for now), but one that’s quickly becoming central. There’ll be more on this soon, but for now: it’s all about design, storytelling, and why this city keeps me inspired.
