Studio notes, January

The start of a new year is often framed as a reset. Big announcements, bold declarations.
In reality, January is less a reset than a continuation of November and December, carrying on through to the end of February.
Copenhagen is in winter mode – grey days, a fair bit of snow, fewer distractions. It’s a good time to be hunkered down in the studio and properly focused. Client work continues as normal, while a few things take shape in the background. New projects and new clients arrive, with new budgets and new ideas. Momentum quietly building towards spring.
This month includes the launch of a dedicated art website and the early stages of a couple of web shops – projects developing alongside ongoing work.
I love cycling around Copenhagen and the surrounding area in summer sunshine with my camera. It’s probably my favourite aspect of living here. I also love this part of the year: getting work done.
More soon.
