Bannerman Bed and Breakfast – Web Design & Visual Identity
Bannerman Bed and Breakfast is a welcoming, boutique-style B&B in Inverness — the capital of the Scottish Highlands and a major destination for UK and international tourism.
I’ve worked with this family-run business since 2006, and this is the third major iteration of the website. Each version has evolved alongside the business, reflecting its growth, personality, and consistently high standards of hospitality.
Website Design
The current site is a responsive WordPress CMS, designed to adapt beautifully across desktops, tablets, and smartphones without compromising functionality. It integrates seamlessly with the client’s chosen booking platform and is fully search engine optimised — a key factor in attracting steady traffic in a competitive tourist market.
The site includes a blog that allows the owner to easily share updates and direct posts to Facebook and LinkedIn — providing simple, ongoing control over her online presence.
Visual Identity
The logo was created to reflect the care and quality at the heart of the business. It’s warm, confident, and professional — just like the experience guests receive when they stay.
Bannerman Bed and Breakfast continues to thrive, and it’s been a pleasure to support the business over the years as both its designer and trusted collaborator.
