Cartoon design history of the RAF logo

The RAF roundel, which is also effectively used as the Royal Air Force’s visuel identity or logo, is something of a design classic. It is simple classy and instantly recognisable. You can read about the symbol (roundel) here.

I just have a small issue with the design, that, I don’t know, maybe the designer didn’t fully think it through.
